The Shark Blanket

From Ron: As we sat and watched conference these last two days, I realized that I am really lucky to have one of the most essential pieces of a good conference weekend--the classic shark blanket. This is the blanket that Grandma Goodell gave me about 26 years ago, and has been a family favorite ever since. Who knows how many lawns it has been on, how many huts it has been the roof for, how many babies have spit up on it, how many people it has warmed in the van during the early morning portions of family trips to California, and so many other functions it has been to.

This blanket is a reminder to me of how generous Grandma Goodell has always been, and what a good gift giver she, Mom, and all of my siblings are. Notice how well the blanket has held up after all of these years of abuse.

I just wanted to let you all know where it is, and that it's still being used regularly. For example, this weekend it was the blanket that the boys had to be on while they ate conference treats. (Contrary to what Rebecca is thinking or hoping, I'm not trying to nurse her.)

If you have more memories and/or pictures of this blanket then let us all know.
