Goofs

I wonder what Rebecca is thinking in this picture. Perhaps..."Get me out of this nut house!" or "Help!" or "When am I going to have to succumb to this weirdness?"

Tongues

My dad always gets a hoot out of my pictures in which I stick my tongue out. Rebecca started to stick her tongue out like a giraffe and we had to get it on camera. Like mother like daughter!

Halloween a'comin'

We found the perfect costume for Ronnie...Raphael Ninja costume...from Goodwill. It came without a shell or mask, but he doesn't care. He sleeps and eats in it and I finally washed it to get off the Calamine, Raman noodles, and oatmeal. Jace couldn't find one at Goodwill that fit him and was so sad that Ronnie was wearing his (last year's Superman costume just didn't cut it) We found Batman at Wal-mart and Jace loves it-unfortunately, it snags unto his diaper, thus making his diaper come off and he wets the costume... it's a sign to bring on the potty training. Rebecca's costume will be a surprise!

Jace said his nose hurt and wouldn't leave us alone until he had a bandaid on his nose!

Ronnie has over 35 mosquito bites. Welcome to the Midwest. I was awakened at 4:45 am with an itching 4-year-old at my bedside-poor guy! Gotta love the pink stuff!
Here is another picture of the Cardinals game--I really liked the field! We blessed Rebecca in Church our last Sunday in Iowa. This is her dress that Grandma LeBaron made.

Jace likes his potty and underwear and the snacks he gets but we are trying to connect the three-he still wears a diaper but will usually go potty when we put him on it. He'll get it in time!

Rebecca is a little chub, just like her brothers were as babies....the secret to chubby babies you ask? Mother must eat ice cream and chocolate....well, at least this girl's mamma!

Baby Becca 'chats' with us about her day and is a cute little girl! It is fun to dress a baby in pink and bows. Ron is a great dad and has a talent for having fun with the kids.

St. Louis Cardinals

Summer fun

Hello,
We are attempting our hand at this blogging stuff. Sorry we are a little slow in getting around to blogging. All the kids are asleep for the time being, although one is starting to stir! Our summer was filled with adventures, beginning with our newest addition, Rebecca Marie, born in June, and then we moved to St. Louis two weeks later on Jace's 2nd birthday. Two weeks after our move, we went to Utah for almost a month and enjoyed non-humid weather and celebrated Ronnie's 4th birthday. St. Louis is a very exciting city and we have had fun meeting new people and visiting new parks and places. Ron enjoys his new job as a visiting professor at Washington University. We went to a Cardinals baseball game here and had a fun time...the baseball diamond is close the the Gateway Arch, which we have yet to visit. The kids have adjusted well, although they do miss our good friends in Iowa. If anyone wants to come and visit, we would love to have you! We have experienced eating the cracker-thin St. Louis pizza crust and have tasted Fitz's rootbeer on the Loop. Some major attractions such as the Zoo and Science Center in Forest Park, which we are five minutes from, are free thanks to Busch beer. Jace is attempting his hand at going potty on the potty and loves to hold his underwear and take naps with it. Ronnie wants to join karate. Rebecca likes to eat and sleep and smile. Life is good!
