Focaccia bread

This was a hit with my family and easy!

Focaccia Bread

Mix:
2 1/2-3 c. flour
1 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt 1 T. yeast

Warm:
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. water
2 T. butter, melted

Mix until well kneaded. Divide into two parts. Press dough into 2-8" round pans. Top with herb mixture and cheese. Let rise for 45 minutes in warm place. Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes. Take out of pans and it's delicious warm.

Herb mixture:
2 T. chopped onion (I had purple on hand)
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. celery salt
Top with:
1 c. shredded cheese
(I used mozz and Parmesan)

Can't wait to try it. Our stuffed peppers today were not the hit, but the little smokies were. I wonder why. Your bread, however, is sure to be a hit!
