We would do the past amazing year injustice if we failed to mention the events that occurred prior to our blog beginnings. So here is the first half of our eventful year of 2008!

Wedding #1: Ron's brother, John, married Rebekkah on February 1st in Utah.

Wedding #2: Rachelle's brother, Ray, married Rachel on February 29th in Nauvoo. Our home territory!

Ron graduated with his PhD in Accounting from the University of Iowa after SIX hardworking years! Way to go Ron! You are amazing!

Rebecca was born in June-we love this picture because she loves her baths! No boys will mess with Rebecca with older brothers like Ronnie and Jace to look after her!

This is what the streets of Iowa City looked like when Rachelle came home from the hospital after delivering Rebecca. Major flooding occurred throughout the state-our poor Iowa!

Ron got a job at Washington University in St Louis as a visiting professor in Accounting. This picture is after long days of moving and unpacking and having three munchkins to look after. It had been a long couple of weeks and we finally got a chance to relax on the couch.

Wedding #3: Once again we attended a sibling wedding. Ron's brother Ricky married Mindy in July and we stayed there in Utah for a long visit.

We went to Yellowstone with Rachelle's family (don't see me with straight hair very often...my sisters did it for me, it was weird to have no curls! Or rat nest as I call it!)
That is it in a nutshell...fun memories!

I can't believe how big Christina and Jenny are! I can't remember the last time I saw them, probably when I lived there. What a crazy year!
What a great year. We miss you guys!
What a wonderful year in review. So many happy things to remember. And so many weddings! Sorry to hear about the cat . . . but it made me laugh out loud. What a hilarious story. :) Good thing we don't have pets or I would probably find them in the washer too. :)
Fun, fun pictures. And I love the straight hair - it does look different though!
The picture of your sisters and mom at Ray's wedding is breath taking of all of you. I do love your straight hair. The last time I did that to mine was at your wedding, and we all know how that went.....

What a year! I love you hair straight. It's so cute. But it's so cute curly too. You Lucky DUCK!
Edit: My favorite bro came to visit us for several days, driving 10 hours just to see us. Our favorite memory of St. Louis so far! j/k sis! Nice recap!
Brought me to tears, seriously. What a crazy year! Kudos for living life to its fullest, and for being happy through adversity and challenge. Love you guys. Happy 2009!
